At this time of year, Americans gather together with family and friends, sharing food and good wishes, and giving thanks for the abundance in our lives.
As I make preparations for my own Thanksgiving dinner, the words of the Beatles song keep running through my head – “I get by with a little help from my friends.”
We all need friends and family to help us get by. Wherever you are and whatever your family traditions, I urge you to tell the most important people in your life how you feel about them. Nothing matters more to me than the warm, wonderful people in my life, and I am so thankful that you are a part of it.
This week, in your own way, practice gratitude. Take a few moments each day to reflect on what you’re thankful for, no matter how small. The time you spend appreciating what you have will multiply and bring an abundance of good things to you.
May your life be full of celebration, thanksgiving, good food, good company, and fun.
All my best, to you and yours…
Warmly,
Joan
