Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog! Since I love to talk, this ought to be fun.
Are you all ready for the 4th of July? Here in Annapolis, MD, we’re looking forward to perfect weather—unless the weather-guessers get it wrong. We’ll be grilling, swimming, watching fireworks and enjoying family and friends.
For those of you in bigger cities, the migration out of town will start tomorrow at noon—if it hasn’t already. If you’re joining the crowd on the roads, be safe and come back in one piece. This morning I saw a woman on the freeway with a magazine open across her steering wheel while she was talking on her cell phone. Now, that might be the Darwin Effect at work, but I’m sure she has people who love her and would be sad if she didn’t come home. Same with you—don’t talk on the phone or read or put on make-up or shave or ANYTHING while you’re driving. Please.
Again, welcome! Please add your comments any time—I’d love to talk with you.

Congratulations on your first post and welcome to the blogosphere! Hmmm… the “Darwin Effect†– OK, I promise to read the magazine while blow drying my hair, I’ll shave at the car wash, I’ll apply extra lipstick before hitting the road, and (eek!) this weekend I’ll even turn the cell phone off.
Seriously, I’m with you – here’s to perfect weather and intuitive weather-guessers!

Congratulations on your new blog, Joan! It looks great, as does the rest of your site. It effectively conveys the power you bring to coaching and your clients.
Thanks so much for the helpful feedback you gave me today—two posts, no less!
Have a great 4th yourself!
